Translating Legal Issues is a youth-focused single day conference, for front-line workers, educators, parents, and community members in the trans and gender diverse community. Engage with and learn from community members, service providers and legal professionals about the barriers faced by trans* youth in Simcoe County.
Speakers will be attending from Catholic Family Services Simcoe County, Justice for Children and Youth, and the Community Legal Clinic of Simcoe, Haliburton, and Kawartha Lakes. Local youth will also be telling their stories of challenges they have faced in the region based on gender identity and/or gender expression.
