LGBTQ YOUTH & FAMILY PROGRAMMING

LGBTQ
YOUTH
CONNECTION.

The LGBTQ Youth Connection is a drop-in and social space for lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, two-spirit, trans, asexual, questioning, etc. youth. Groups take place in Barrie, Orillia, and Midland and are a place for youth to connect with each other and to community.

Our goal is to provide opportunities for youth to get together in a relaxed social space and to access resources and support on LGBTQ topics/issues. We’ve done lots of great events with the groups, including tea parties, picnics, art workshops, cooking classes, field trips, movie nights, educational presentations, guest speakers, and more!
